Do you realize how important you are?

Do you remember the moment you fell in love with children’s ministry? When did you realize how deeply you care about the children in your church? Every week, you project your voice and stand tall; you instruct, you drill, you train, all the while trying to corral a roomful of kid energy.

But still, they run circles around you. They often ignore your instruction until you start counting. Every week, it’s a LOT. But strangely, every night you come home feeling energized, full of life, and in love with every kid there. It’s the best two hours of your week. And deep inside, you know it’s the most important thing you could be doing with your life.

You’re about to start another year of saying ‘yes’ to kids. You will continue to lead boys and girls to Christ. You will encourage them to memorize Scripture, and you will serve as the loving, caring adult that provides consistency, stability, and safety in their life. You will give them two hours of love every week that will feel like home and belonging and all-is-wellness.

Do you realize how important you are?

Thank you for your commitment. Your sacrifice. Your resolve. Thank you for your laughter. Your creativity. Your spark. As you head into this next ministry year, we are grateful for the way you will fill in the gaps for so many precious children of God. You’ve got this, and we’re here to support each other every step of the way!
